Fishbooking.com is Norway’s newest wbsite that takes fishing seriously. The site was released in April 2001 and has quickly built a reputation as Norway’s biggest and most advanced fishing web page. We are now ready to release our English and German version.

Our web page covers all forms of fishing and is the largest database of its kind here in Norway. As we all know Norway is the last frontier for Atlantic salmon. With rivers in the north producing over 20,000 kg. of fish annually. This is but an example of what this country has to offer. It doesn’t matter what environment you prefer to fish within we cover all forms of fishing; coastal, deep-sea, river or lake fishing. We are not a fly orientated web site but a complete fisherman’s page. Our team has experience from all over the world. We are a mixture of Dutch, Norwegian, Australian and German. Between us we have mastered most forms of the art of fishing.

We have begun the task of mapping and photographing Norway’s wealth of fishing Within our articles and database you will find the latest news, accommodation, sport stores, supermarkets and all the other important information a fisherman needs on a foreign adventure. No group is too small or large that we can’t plan your holiday. The use of our advanced technology enables us to update our site at regular intervals. Included to this river managers and local authorities have the opportunity to publish local news, events and take part in discussions on issues that effect local environments

In addition to this we have a register of 30.000 others services and tourist events that relate to fishing, all of which we call “ fishtourism”. This enables you to choose from a number of holiday options. If it’s a weekend with your mate or a trip with the entire family we can tailor your holiday to suit your needs. When travelling abroad there is a host of simple information you need know. For example where to find food, accommodation, tackle, beer, medicine, doctors ect. We have all the help you need. This is a task we undertake with all seriousness.

In the course of the upcoming season you will be able to book you day (weekor season) cards with our on-line booking system. This is so simple that you can book your entire trip, from your flight through to cards and accommodation. The entire bill can be paid in one transaction. This illuminates the problems you face running around town and those long distance phone calls we all hate to pay for.

Accommodation is also available along the coast for salt-water fishermen and for the mountain trout “freak” we have a large assortment of cabins and hotels to choose from. The entire point of our company’s existence is the simplification of your fishing adventures.

Our staff are a bunch of hard core fishermen that are sick and tired of the stress of planning our fishing breaks It became hard work. What we have learnt has given us the knowledge to iron out the wrinkles.

This year will prove to be an exciting time; our roving reporter is on a constant quest to find the Perfect River, beach, lake or bay.
