G’day as you can see we here at fishbooking have been keep busy since my arrival back from Australia. I have started to fill those stupid empty spaces in our page and I’m proud to say we have added a “ton” of information. In the last few weeks I have written the government rules for salmon and trout fishing, news ways to cook fish, and updated all the latest fishing news here in Norway. This brings me to the subject of our government here in Norway they have done it again! Hydro plants that are fed by an endless supply of rainwater mostly generate Norway’s power. The small price we pay for clean power is some of our rivers are dammed. As we all know this affects salmon to the point that great rivers are destroyed. We here in Norway thought that this was near the end. Both the government and local lobby groups had agreed that a balance. There are certain rivers that their natural charm was enough to save them from the dreaded dam wall. What can I say!!! Now the idiots that have control over natural views and where we fish have put forward a proposal to dam river in the Voss district. The futures of Geitåni, Rasdalselva, Fossegjelet and Skårdalselva are now threatened.
