House of Hardy has released it's 2002 range of products
House of Hardy, Britain’s most famous designer and manufacturer of game fishing tackle since 1880, launch a series of new rods and reels for the 2002 season.
The business, based in Alnwick, Northumberland, has an enviable reputation for innovation and quality in the angling world.
Ever since the invention of the Hardy split-bamboo rod and the revolutionary Hardy Perfect Reel, still in production today, Hardy’s have been at the forefront of angling technology.
The new products launched this year are no exception and compliment their existing range of angling equipment. They include the new Perfection Still Water Rod in a 9’ No.6 to 10’ No.8. Three rods specifically for pike fishermen, named after the famous Dutch fisherman and artist Adswier, will also be available for this fast growing sport.
To enhance the successful Gem range of rods comes the Gem reels for fresh and sal****er mid arbor reel. The reel gives greater line capacity, quick retrieval and less line coil. Hardy are also producing a limited edition replica of the St. George Junior.
New accessories for the avid angler include a range of new lines, with a sal****er line specifically for high water temperatures, and the first Hardy breathable waders.
