Big trout in the summer sun.

ill photo (SKOT)

Over the course of the summer new records are constantly appearing out of the blue. Saturday night two mates sat on a lake bank smilling over their new personal records.

Morten Kopperud and Rune Ellegård visited Lesjaskogsvatnet (lake) for the first time and managed two fish over 1.3 kilo. The largest of these was a mighty 1.9 kilo. Over the next two days the pair landed 37 trout. Not bad! The pair latter commented that they longer have the need to salmon fish. What’s the point with so many trout to be caught?
After a record period with out rain our rivers are dry and many fishermen have now focused their attention on the many trout lakes in Norway. The lads enjoyed a fat fish in the pan with onions and side dishes to please a king. They commented that next year they would return, after all 1.9kg was a good start!
