Six kilo’s of luck.

HOLMFOSS (Dagsavisen): Karl Erik Møller has just done some thing for the first time, Now he is 6-kilo luckier. He explained that he has never fished salmon before. In fact it was his first attempt at salmon fishing. He was seen holding his sexy silver love. In fact he went on to say that he would not swap his new love for any woman!

Holmfoss is 20 kilometers from larvik and Sandefjord in Vesterfold. Early afternoon the sun shinning through the surrounding trees could not have been a better surrounding for the Danish crew to start their yearly fishing adventure. Holmfoss is one of the many great pools with in Numedalslågen and this Danish crew has been here since 1995. Each year a group of up to 12 mad fishermen travel north to test their luck. This year they have caught a disappointing 12 salmon. This is well below last year’s figures but maybe it could be the increased in take of beer?

Women free zone.

This group of Viking has long since claimed that this week is a women free zone. The reason he explained (with a grin) is that they can play up with out looking over their shoulders. Dispite the lack of ladies there is plenty of salmon, every year in holmfoss over 1400 salmon are taken. The lads have a record of 36 salmon in one week and are hoping to smash that record one-day. Lets hope they can pull it off.
