Drammen river shows how it’s done.

Hellefoss in Øvre Eiker was the place that Arild Lilleås hooked into a mighty salmon that lead to a new personal record, 17.kilo. No amount of fancy words could describe the smile on his face

He said that he had landed big salmon in the past but this one was the meanest to date. In fact landed a monster weighing 14.8 kg. Some people have all the fun and according to reports from Drammenselva the big salmon are back and plenty of people are catching. The hot tip is that Midtskjæret at is one of the best places to be.

Drammenelva is one of the few rivers here in Norway where you can fish with prawn or shrimp. The funny thing about this story is Arild normally fishers the North of Norway but a mate had injured himself so the option was to fish a local river. If you ask me I think that local sound s fine.
