Hellefoss in Øvre Eiker was where Arild Lilleås hooked and landed a fish weighing over 17 kilo. Finally he has broken his personal record. This season Norwegian fishermen have broken records over the entire country despite the low water flow in many of our river.
He said that he had never had anything so large on his rod before and this was a new record that smashed his earlier record of 15 kilo. His last monster fish was some years ago and he was pleased as punch to have caught such a fish. The funny thing is that in the space of one week he caught two large fish from the same pool, Midtskjæret at Hellefoss
This is a sign that Drammen river is in fantastic form Currently we are working on our English river reviews so as you can see the latest photos and descriptions over the next week. Here is an example of what each of these reviews will contain.
