89 year old takes near record fish!

Every now and then a story lands on our desk that both makes you laugh and understand why it is we love fishing so much. Over the weekend a 89 year old grandmother caught a coalfish weighing a whopping 20 kilo.

Out in to the North Sea in fact this old sea dog was a half hour from the Marsteinen lighthouse on the west coast of Bergen. She explained that she was certain it was the bottom and when she realizing it was a fish she had one hell of a fight. Lucky for her son was nearby to lend a hand.

Klara is a long time fisherperson and has joined her family on countless adventures but this one she will never forget. This just shows that you are never to old to catch that dream fish. All the crew wishes Klara all the best and well done!
