Drammen River has posted great results.

Despite the low water levels this year Drammen River has fished better than it has is decades. Local sports fishermen are proud of the rebirth of their river.

The salmon population in Drammen River has shown that it is fighting back after the tragic out break of gyrodactylus salaris. Geir Nyhus is the local river manager and is pleased with the result.

It has been registered over 7 ton of salmon caught by sports fishermen this season and according the locals next year could prove to be much better.
