Stewed salmon pita's

When camping so many people will take hotdogs and bread. Why not try something new and interesting. For example try a new fish dish?

- 1 packet of pre-made stew base (here in Norway we use “toro”.
- 1 large onion
- Fresh or frozen salmon cutlets
- Pita bread


Method

First brown you onions over the hot coals. While you are browning your onion place the salmon cutlets over the flames and brown the cutlets until they are almost cooked. Read the simple instructions and bring the stew base to boil and cook until it thickens.

After 10 minutes the stew-base should be ready. Take the bones out of the fish ans mix the meat in your stew. Add the onions to the stew. Finally fill your pita bread with the mix and you have a healthy energy packed meal.
