Morten Haraldsen from Bøverbru is mad keen fisherman and recently he has been in Stjørdalselva (river) tying his luck for big salmon. Included to this he has fished the deep fjords and great lakes but of late he has had luck with good trout fishing.

9-kilo pike was never expected.
With a little trout lure Vidar Bråthen hooked more than he bargained for, a pike weighing over 9-kilo. It was his first cast along the shoreline at Landfalløya.

Molde council plans to improve local trout fishing
Molde, The local Molde government has now enforced fishing cards for its local lakes. The money raised by card sales is ear marked for improvements for sports fishermen and cultivation of the surrounding fisheries.

Landowners will stop free fishing for children.
Local landowner from Telemark, Harald Kvålen will stop all children under sixteen from fish his lakes. He has told local newspapers that these children are thieves. He has also claimed that it is an intrusion of his right as a landowner.
